Trekking Apuan Alps
From Levigliani, you can embark on exciting treks through beech forests, to mountain refuges, and to panoramic peaks of the surrounding mountains. There are various hiking options available for all preferences, ranging from easy walks to more challenging and longer treks.
DISCOVERING THE APUANE ALPS
During the summer season, Corchia Park offers guided excursions led by environmental guides, allowing even those unfamiliar with the area to enjoy a day of walking amidst landscapes and greenery.
EXCURSIONS TO THE TRENCHES OF THE GOTHIC LINE
A short trek lasting approximately four hours and 30 minutes, starting and ending in the village of Levigliani. Accompanied by an environmental guide from CorchiaPark, you’ll reach the trailhead of “Sentiero delle Voltoline” by shuttle, then ascend to explore the fortified trenches dug into Monte Corchia by the Alpini during the Gothic Line in 1944-45. This is a light but highly stimulating excursion through majestic landscapes and traces of recent mountain history.
