“Ipogeo” Wine

The vast marble belly of Monte Corchia also hides a small cellar, carved into a natural niche within the cave, where several hundred bottles of wine are carefully placed each year to mature.

The wine, sourced from small artisanal producers, is made from vineyards cultivated at high altitudes on the coastal slopes of the Apuan Alps. After a period of aging in the cave, it acquires the distinguished title of “Ipogeo Wine.”
